Three Rivers

Passau sits where the Danube, the Inn and the Ilz come together, and that meeting point is my favourite place in the city. I have a bench there. I go to sit, write notes, think about many things, and sometimes try not to think at all.

I named my first abstract series after these rivers: Drei Flüsse. The paintings are made with the same gouache I use for my miniatures, mixed with acrylic and oil pastel, at a size where the brush has to travel.
